We are excited to announce a call for chapters for an upcoming book that aims to explore strategies and perspectives on how African countries can enhance their agency in global politics. This is in light of the geopolitical bias, a lens that filters world politics through the prism of the grand strategy of world superpowers, trouncing the involvement of smaller nations, particularly African countries.

Empowering African Nations: Strategies for Enhancing Agency in Global Politics

The book seeks to provide a comprehensive and insightful analysis of the challenges and opportunities that African nations face in the complex landscape of international relations. We invite contributions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners with expertise in political science, international relations, diplomacy, and related fields.

Objective:
The primary objective of this book is to shed light on innovative approaches, policies, and actions that African countries can adopt to strengthen their influence and presence in global politics. We welcome contributions that examine historical contexts, current trends, and future prospects for African nations, offering practical insights and recommendations.

Possible Topics (but not limited to):
- Historical Perspectives on Africa's Global Engagement
- Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Strategies for African Nations
- African Regional Integration and Cooperation
- African Economic Diplomacy and Trade Relations
- Security and Peacekeeping Initiatives in Africa
- Technology and Innovation as Drivers of African Agency
- African Soft Power and Cultural Diplomacy
- Enhancing African Agency in Resource Governance
- Role of the African Diaspora in Global Politics
- Africa in Environmental and Climate Change Diplomacy
- African Multilateralism and International Organizations
